Interviews with "Extra-Ordinary" People, Intro to Me
From my first blog which I began about 8 years ago, interviewing people from all walks of life, asking each the same set of questions, my original intention was to “bridge the gap”.
I recently came across these interviews and will be slowly uploading them here and will be revisiting the project from time to time, Here’s mine to start….
The Purpose: Interviews with Extra-Ordinary People
“Yes, I know the word is correctly spelled 'extraordinary', but while indecisively debating between "Interviews with Everyday People", "Random People" and even, "Ordinary People". I decided that "Extra-Ordinary" would be most fitting as I strongly believe that everyone is much more than ordinary or even more harsh...Random.
My purpose in creating this blog series is to interview a wide variety of people, particularly change makers as to inspire, to demonstrate that while we are not all the same as one another, we can all empathize and relate to one another on some level. I will also be showcasing the importance and beauty of the projects and the passions that my interviewees are pursuing, as well as their individuality.
My hope is that in connecting to those who read the interviews, the readers will perhaps gain some insight, inspiration, or experience a shift in their perspective, as well as the satisfaction that comes with relating to another.”
